Bolado Park and Surrounding Area

From south of Gilroy: Take the best route to US-101 N to CA-156 E toward San Juan Batista/ Hollister. Turn right onto Union Road. Turn right onto Airline Hwy/ CA-25. *Follow CA-25 through Tres Pinos and the fairgrounds will be on your right.

From the Bay Area: Take US-101 S. Take the CA-25 exit toward Hollister CA-25 merging right going into Hollister. Turn left onto Santa Ana Road. Turn right onto Fairview Road. Turn left onto Airline Hwy/ CA-25 and follow CA-25 through Tres Pinos and the fairgrounds will be on your right.

From I-5: Take CA-33 exit at Santa Nella towards Gilroy. Turn West onto CA-33. Merge onto CA-152 West toward Gilroy. Turn left onto CA-156/ Pacheco Pass Hwy. Turn left onto Fairview Road. Turn left onto Airline Hwy/ CA-25 and follow CA-25 through Tres Pinos and the fairgrounds will be on your right.

Written Directions to Site: Take your best route to Highway 5 North to Sacramento. Follow I-5 North, follow signs for Stockton/Sacramento. Use the right two lanes to take exit 525B for CA-99 N toward youba City/Marysville. Continue on CA-99 N for 11 Miles using the right 2 lanes to turn slightly right onto the CA-70 ramp to Marysville/Oroville. Turning right onto State Highway 70 E / 9th Street pass the AutoZone on the right and then use any lane to turn left to continue onto CA-70 South Bound. Continue straight onto CA-70 North for 15 miles. At the interchange Wick’s Cor, Use the right 2 lanes to follow signs for CA-70 N toward Paradise/Quincy/US-191 then stay on CA-70 and turn left onto Concow Road.

Terrain Description: This is a rough terrain site with trees and has been through several fires. They are rebuilding but there is no guarantee of smooth terrain

Insects or wild animals to be aware of on/ near site: Please be aware that this is a native site, there are native animals and plants that need to be left alone. Please also be aware that there is the possibility of mosquitos and other critters that like to nibble at night.
