Crosston’s Annual Ball

The Shire of Crosston’s annual Dance Ball is on the last Saturday of April. Join us for a day of dancing, games, music, and merriment. Classes for beginner and intermediate dancers available at 3:30 and 4:30pm. All dances will be called during the ball. Crosston welcomes live musicians, contact the event steward for details and sheet music.
Site rules: No gambling, drugs, or smoking on church grounds. No kitchen access, but there are some outlets for crockpots. Site is very discreetly damp. Please be respectful of the neighbors and quiet when leaving.
Schedule:
3:30pm – Dance classes starting
5:30pm – Picnic dinner (or refer to google `maps for nearby restaurants)
6:30pm – Ball opens
10:00pm – Ball closes/cleanup begins
11:00pm hall closes.

Note, this is a long and ambitious day. If you would like to dance all day, the event steward recommends starting a daily walking/exercise program asap.
If you would like to brush up on your dance moves before the ball, please to join Crosston’s Wednesday Night Dance Practice. Location (mostly peninsula and south bay) announcements are made on Sunday via the West Kingdom Dance and Music Facebook Group.
If any musicians out there who would like to join the band, we’d love to have you! You’re welcome to play as much or as little of the evening as you like. See Geoffrey Mathias’ post in the West Kingdom Dance and Music Facebook Group for a link to the sheet music, which can also be found on Dropbox.

Directions: Take CA-101 to the Oregon Expressway exit in Palo Alto. Go west towards midtown. Turn left at Middlefield Road. Turn right on Colorado Ave. Turn left into the parking lots either before or after the sign that says “The Episcopal Church Welcomes You”.
