Unto our beloved Populace do We, Dmitriy and Hannah, Prince and Princess of the Mists, send Greetings.
It is once again time for our principality to witness one of the most unique and dear traditions -- the choosing of the Heirs. A Grand Tournament shall be held this month do determine who shall rule this land through the winter and spring seasons, a time of feasts, dancing and celebration. We invite all fighters to participate in the tournament, from the newest levy to the strong and valiant Duke. We look forward to the grand display of skill, chivalry, puissance and franchise. Fighters are encouraged to engage a personal herald to introduce them during invocation, and to bring banners to signal their presence.An equestrian demonstration is in the works, and we hope that our populace will enjoy seeing the noble beasts and their riders in action as much as We do.
We also look forward to the revelry which shall commence upon the list field soon after the evening court. We invite all of our populace to join us as we celebrate this grand occasion with a Russian-themed party. Celebrate the land of His Highnesses birth with Russian garb, drink, and just this one time His Highness might even let you get away with a cheesy Russian accent.
Sunday morning will be full of activity and we encourage all who are able to stay the night! Among the planned activities are such varied pursuits as dancing, hurley, and a war practice -- the Great Western War is coming soon, and we hope that many warriors come to hone their craft. As we shall be enjoying these pursuits so close to the Cynaguan border, we would hope that some of our neighbors might attend, as well.
