Know all that it is with great joy that We take up the rule of this fair principality after Our great predecessors, Bryne and Brand. As they have protected Our borders so assiduously, so also do We intend to wage peace most vigourously, shepherding Our lands from malign incursion.
We would extend our thanks to all who attended Our Investiture and made it a glorious day which We shall long remember. To the Autocrat, the Cooks, the Servers, the fine folks at the Gate, and all of the other volunteers: We are grateful to you all for your service.
It pleases Us to see so many new faces at Principality events. New people are one of the great resources of the society, let us do our best to greet them and make them feel welcome! Her Higness remembers Her own days as a shy newcomer and would ask you to take some time to greet those you do not recognize and introduce yourself. It is by making our new folk feel welcome and comfortable that we encourage them to remain and to become more involved.
We ask you all to write to Us should you see gentles whose efforts deserve praise. We will be glad to give them the recognition that they deserve. Every letter goes a long way! Warriors! Sharpen your swords and keep their edges keen, for a dread foe is stirring in the frozen wastes of the North, and it will be but a fortnight or two more 'til King Alden will lead Us to do battle with the Hordes of An Tir. Practice your skills, train with your units, ready your gear and raise high your banners. War is near, and the Mists shall stand ready when the call comes!
